The ticking of the clocks.

Einstein was right.

Time is relative.

A second can last forever, and forever can go by in a second.

Just a minute can be all it takes for your life to change forever. Or years can go by, and nothing changes.

In a second, you can break your heart, fall in love, save a life, take away someone’s hope, inspire billions, incite a revolution. In a minute, you could have an idea that changes the world as we know it, make a difference in this world. It takes an hour to do the unthinkable.

It only takes a second, a minute, an hour.

And years can go by with a blink of an eye. Looking back on the days and months and years bygone, it all seems like such a blur. It all seems like nothing at all. Entire histories of civilizations can be compressed into a single hundred-page book, and lives can be recounted within the span of a single blog post.

Time is relative.

And yet the ticking of the clocks are forever constant, never changing at all.
